E-TICKET Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters 2010
(Availability on Reserve online)
PRESENTATION
What is an e-ticket?
The e-ticket (electronic ticket) is a new means of buying your seats for the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters. The e-ticket can be printed on any printer, and enables you to access the tournament. They may be printed in either colour or black and white, on an A4 sheet of paper (one side only). Legibility of the information contained on the e-ticket is essential for electronic access control to the stadium. The e-ticket will simplify your order and enable you to receive your ticket(s) immediately. Any attempt at fraud will be detected at the electronic control the day of the event.
What are the advantages?
1. You no longer need to wait for your tickets to be sent, no more risk of losing
them and finished the need to queue to withdraw your tickets on the actual day. You can now order, pay and print your tickets on any computer.
2. You can reserve your tickets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
3. You can transfer your e-tickets by e-mail if you wish to please a friend or member of your family. Once you have paid, an access code will be assigned to your personal space where you will be able
to find all your ticket orders. The e-tickets can be sent by e-mail, as attached documents to a third party.
What is the difference between an e-ticket and a traditional ticket?
The e-ticket entitles access like any other ticket. It gives you the same rights to access and bears the same information as a classical ticket. Thus, one ticket per person, per seat and per day is essential.
CONDITIONS FOR BUYING E-TICKETS
What do I need to order an e-ticket?
A computer with an internet connection.
A printer (inkjet or laser), black and white or colour, as well as unused A4 paper.
A valid e-mail address with the necessary space.
Adobe Acrobat Reader Software.
A valid credit card to make the payment on the totally secured website.
How to get your e-tickets?
Once the payment has been made and the transaction validated, you will receive an e-mail confirming your purchase and indicating the steps to follow to print your tickets.
You should go back to the on-line ticket sales site, enter your personal space, located in the top right-hand corner and then click on "Your orders".
You will find all your tickets, which you should then print by clicking on each of the "e-ticket" lines. If nothing appears when you click on the lines, install the latest version of acrobat reader,
free of charge. (http://www.adobe.com/fr/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.)
What should I do if I don't receive the information relative to my order on my email address?
The identification step is extremely important. You will be asked to confirm your email
address when you sign on. We advise you not to do a copy-paste in order to
avoid typing errors, missed letters or incomplete names. Make sure you verify that
your e-mail box is valid and has enough space to receive your confirmation e-mail.
You are advised to free the necessary space to enable the reception of your e-mail
confirming your order. If you should have any problems, don't hesitate to contact our
ticket sales office. (Phone: 00.377.97.98.70.00 or email: Billetterie1@smett.mc)
What is Adobe Acrobat Reader, and what does it do?
This totally free software enables your computer to read PDF documents. You will

I have bought e-tickets for friends, how can I send them by e-mail?
You only need to identify yourself on your personal space. You will be able to trace
all the e-tickets you have ordered on the tickets sales website of the Monte-Carlo
Rolex Masters. Should you wish to send them to a third party, you should save a
copy of the ticket(s) on your hard disk and add them as an attached document to
your e-mail. Make sure you keep a receipt of your e-mail to ensure your tickets are
sent.
Printing
Do I need a color printer?
You can print your tickets either in color or in black and white. To ensure clear
legibility of the bar code, it is advised to select "optimal" quality for the printing of the
ticket.
What paper format should I use to print my e-tickets?
White and unused A4 paper must be used on one side only and without modifying
the size of the print format, in vertical portrait format, in colour or black and white,
with an inkjet or laser printer. Only one side of the sheet must be printed on to ensure
legibility and clarity of the information. You may fold the paper following the dotted
lines. The bar code must appear on a visible side of the fold. You alone are
responsible for the bad printing quality of the tickets.
What happens if I lose my e-ticket, or it is badly printed?
Since the e-ticket is controlled by a scanner when you enter the stadium, you must
make sure that the bar code and all the information contained on the ticket are clearly
printed and legible. If the e-ticket seems in any way unclear to you, reprint it. If you
have lost it, print it a second time but be aware that only one entry on to the site will
be valid. If you make copies, make sure you do not hand them to a third party and
destroy all copies before you arrive on the tournament site.
Please note that if all the information does not appear on the e-ticket (especially the
bar code), make sure you place your margins at 0 before printing. Also remember to
check that you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
ACCESS TO THE TOURNAMENT
How is my ticket controlled upon accessing the stadium?
Each e-ticket bears two identical code bars representing unique data enabling the
identification of the bearer and the validity of the ticket, the category and the day. The
e-ticket is scanned at the entrance to the stadium by a controller, which enables the
e-ticket to be recorded and any fraud with similar tickets to be blocked.
Is there a special entry for those with e-tickets?
Yes. In order to facilitate your entrance to the site, a special area has been
designated for you. When you arrive at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, go to
"Entrance 3", Access "e-tickets".
Can I photocopy my e-ticket and give it to someone?
The reproduction or falsification of an e-ticket is forbidden and dangerous for the
legitimate bearer of the ticket, whether the buyer or the beneficiary. Indeed, the first
person to present the e-ticket at the entrance to the tournament will gain access. You
alone are responsible for your e-ticket. It is up to you to keep it in a safe place and
to make sure you do not give out photocopies. It is strictly forbidden to buy or sell etickets
on the black market.
A Simple Rule: The first person to present the e-ticket at the site entrance will gain entrance to the tournament. Any other similar e-ticket will be turned away with no compensation. If you make several prints, do not lose them and make sure you destroy them.
